Fu Dog – Day 46

This Fu Dog is female (as evidenced by the Fu Dog cub).  It is of unknown date and artist (though it is noted as a gift from the Republic of China), and is located in the Northern Garden of the White Palace, Sa’d Abad Royal Complex, Iran.

Did you know that Fu Dogs frequently have features that seem not to be from either dog or lion? This one almost seems dwarfish or gremlin-esque, and the cub a little dragon-like (to me anyway)!
