This Fu Dog is of unknown gender and artist. It is a Japanese Imari Porcelain bowl of the Meiji period.

Did you know that a Fu Dog drawn as if ‘in the wild’ is pretty standard for Fu Dog artworks that aren’t sculptures? I’m not sure I’d be able to fill this bowl with soup – I’d feel like I was drowning the Fu Dog and flooding its world.
