This is a vintage, around 1950’s, Arita Toshikane porcelain Fu Dog button about 1 inch in size.

Did you know a Fu Dog is part lion and part dog? This one has a little more lion than dog, to my eyes – still, whether it’s a lion or being a dog I don’t care – my love is for it anyway!
